E.R.P Blog
yes guys..
in these 2 posts, gonna blog about my 2 modules, MEC and ERP...
So this is an assignment for my tutors...
all right..
start with ERP first...
PBL2 was a little bit more fun then PBL1 cuz by now, we've already been used to the ERP environment, and the software that we use (J.D.Edwards)
Researching was as usual as our group depends on the Internet on the information and really really searching through pages and pages to see any difference of information regarding the same guideline... You noe, Internet is such a big place, not everyone is stating facts.. Some may just place their opinions...
Next would be the e-learning week, when I went over to Korea! Yes, it was fun but as well as an enriching experience for all of us. We went to Oracle in Korea and gathered even more information on ERP systems.
By then when we come back, it was a nightmare!!!!! But it wasn't for the ERP module.. Wooooo... EEEEE.... Haaaa...
My group mates have finished with the prototype of the live demo and only left the ppt slides to improve on.. Time management... That was in week 13... Never get to see tutor.. Left to be independent..That's what we are always doing.. INDEPENDENCY!!!
SHOWTIME! Presenting, me, Terence, Darren and Andy!!!
We love presentations.. no doubt. Prepared for the presentation and just give a good shot to everyone in class. Was quite tired as was always preparing for the final lapse, the IIP presentation.. Reason: The stupid macromedia mx2004 REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY is bad.. Alot of technical errors!!! My gosh.. But I guess that's the best software the school could actually provide and count ourselves lucky for having those softwares and not writing codes on TEXTPAD. wahahahah...
Next would be BIG SHOWDOWN AND NOT SHOWTIME... IIIIIIIIIIPPPPPP
issit yippie or whoopie or uh.....
Yippie!!!
When you ask me what's my team's strengths and areas of improvements...
Strengths would be all of us can present well and am not afraid of making mistakes.. We have the right mentality that humans do make mistakes and my group, I must say, whatever we do, we do take pride and confidence in those projects we embarked on and present it just as it is.
Improvements would be....
this is rather nice to hear...
more down to earth..
means, spend more time to do serious work...
then always laughing and laughing...
and relaxing all the way...
but our group feels it's a good way to destress all of us!!!
Intentions behind PBLS?
I know!!!! *Raises up hands*
To be more aware of the ERP environment and of course, to do self learning and exploration of the module itself.. INDEPENDENCY!!!
Have i understood why my tutor have done things that way?
Er... goooood question...
That question would relate to one answer...
just one answer...
but i'm not sure whether the tutors in school think the same...
The generation of ours now are made to explore, to be independent and be trained not to be spoon fed so as to be ready to face future unforeseen challenges in the everchanging world.
That's the end of my blog for E.R.P!!!!!!!!
that's it!!
finale!!!
at the page of many many many many many many many many blogs I'm going to blog,
